Front Desk Agent | Where Every Check-In Feels Like Belonging

At The Compton, the front desk is more than a check-in point—it’s the first chapter of every guest’s story. As a Front Desk Agent, you’ll be one of the first people our guests meet, setting the tone with a warm welcome, attentive service, and genuine care. From check-in to check-out, you’ll ensure every guest feels at home in the Ozarks.

What You’ll Do

  • Welcome guests and guide them through the check-in/check-out process with ease and professionalism.

  • Confirm reservations, process payments, and issue room keys while answering questions about the hotel and local area.

  • Assist with guest inquiries, from directions and dining suggestions to transportation and entertainment.

  • Provide concierge-style support, helping guests discover what makes Bentonville special.

  • Resolve guest concerns with patience and care, ensuring a smooth and positive experience.

  • Promote hotel services, amenities, and programs to enhance each stay.

  • Safely handle guest valuables, lost and found items, and follow all hotel security standards.

  • Maintain accurate records of guest accounts and room status.

What We’re Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Strong customer service skills, with a warm and professional demeanor.

  • Flexible availability—including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

  • Previous hospitality or front desk experience is a plus but not required.

  • Strong multitasking, communication, and teamwork skills.

  • Physically able to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for long periods.
