Director of Sales & Marketing

Make Your Mark: Founding Director of Sales and Marketing, The Compton Bentonville

Help us turn The Compton from a hotel in Bentonville into the reason people come to Bentonville.

More than just a hotel, The Compton is a celebration of outdoor adventure, Ozark culture, and community spirit. Inspired by Dr. Neil Compton—a local conservationist who safeguarded the Buffalo River—this property will be a welcoming, grounded, and engaging destination for travelers seeking a true insider’s experience of the Ozarks.

As the Director of Sales and Marketing, you will be the architect of the hotel’s commercial success. You’ll not only craft and execute innovative sales strategies but also lead a high-performing sales team. In this role, you will:

  • Develop and execute robust sales and marketing plans that drive demand and establish key revenue streams.
  • Mentor, and lead a dynamic sales team that embodies The Compton’s engaging and authentic spirit.
  • Set up and refine systems and processes to ensure seamless operations and long-term scalability of our sales efforts.
  • Forge strategic partnerships and amplify our unique brand narrative, ensuring that our dynamic event spaces, bike-friendly amenities, and three distinctive dining concepts from Indigo Road Hospitality Group resonate with the right audiences.

This role is for a visionary leader with a passion for lifestyle hospitality, an eye for storytelling, and a commitment to building authentic connections—with guests, partners, and the local community. You’ll have the unique opportunity to lay the foundation for a property that’s as much a part of the community as it is a destination in its own right.
