Located on Bentonville’s historic downtown square, The Compton is an independent luxury boutique hotel inspired by the character, natural beauty, and spirit of the Ozarks. We’re looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper with previous housekeeping experience who takes pride in their work and understands that a clean, comfortable room can make someone’s entire day.

What You’ll Do

As a member of our housekeeping team, you’ll help ensure every guest room is clean, comfortable, and ready to welcome its next guest.

• Prepare welcoming guest rooms: Make beds, dust, vacuum, clean bathrooms, sanitize surfaces, and ensure each room meets The Compton’s cleanliness standards.

• Refresh the details: Replace linens, towels, toiletries, and guest amenities so every room feels fresh and inviting.

• Stay organized: Stock your housekeeping cart, maintain orderly supply rooms, and keep cleaning supplies readily available.

• Take pride in your work: Inspect each room carefully to ensure it is clean, tidy, and guest-ready before check-in.

• Communicate with the team: Report maintenance concerns, damages, or items needing attention promptly.

• Work safely: Follow established cleaning procedures, safety guidelines, and hotel policies.

• Support one another: Collaborate with fellow team members to keep daily operations running smoothly and deliver an exceptional guest experience.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous housekeeping experience is required, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.

• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining clean, well-presented spaces.

• The ability to manage time effectively and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• A dependable, self-motivated approach to completing daily responsibilities.

• The ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.

• Good communication skills and a commitment to providing excellent guest service.

• A willingness to learn and consistently uphold The Compton’s standards of cleanliness and presentation.

Experience in a luxury or boutique hotel is a plus. Training on our property-specific procedures and service standards will be provided to help you succeed in the role.
