Compensation: Starting at $11.98 per hour plus tips
ABOUT TUG'S
TUG'S is a new high-energy bar & restaurant opening at 1200 Ocean Drive, Miami Beach. Cold beer, smash burgers,
fried everything, frozen drinks, sports and a lot of fun — an unpretentious neighborhood spot in the heart of South Beach,
built around Tug, our bulldog. No reservations, no attitude, high volume all day and late into the night.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We are building this brand from day one, and we hire for attitude: highly motivated people who want to grow and develop
in a high-volume environment. We look for big personalities and natural charisma, strong salespeople who genuinely love
recommending food and drinks, team players who hustle, and people excited to help grow a brand-new concept — the
team that opens TUG'S will be the first in line for leadership roles as we grow.
JOB SUMMARY
Keep the floor moving: greet tables with water, clear and reset fast, and support servers so guests never wait. In a no-
reservations, high-volume room, the busser sets the pace of the whole restaurant — and bussers who master the floor are
our first candidates for server and bar-back promotions.
ACTIVITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Promote, work, and act in a manner consistent with the mission of TUG'S: cold beer, great food, and a great time for
every guest — served fast, with personality, so they come back with friends.
• Promptly greet newly seated guests and serve ice water; communicate guest requests to the server as needed.
• Clear, clean, and reset tables and chairs quickly between guests — table turns are the heartbeat of the restaurant.
• Set tables with baskets, caddies, condiments, and supplies to TUG'S standard.
• Remove used tableware between courses; scrape, sort, and stack dishes for the dish area.
• Run food and drinks and serve guests when servers need assistance.
• Keep floors, counters, and service stations clean throughout the shift; clean spills and remove trash immediately.
• Stock service stations, ice, condiments, linens, glassware, and to-go supplies before and during service.
• Support the outdoor patio: wipe tables, reset umbrellas and caddies, and keep the entrance area sharp.
• Communicate constantly with hosts and servers to expedite seating and table utilization.
• Thank guests as they leave.
• Attend all scheduled team meetings and bring suggestions for improvement.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
• Restaurant experience a plus, but attitude and hustle matter most — we train the rest.
• Fast, organized, and proud of a clean floor; team-first mentality.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to stand for full shifts, move quickly, and lift up to 35 lbs.
• Food handler training (or willingness to complete on hire).
• English or Spanish required; both a plus.
