Director of Revenue Management – Precision, Performance & GrowthRemote Hybrid Remote
The Botany is a secluded, 20-villa luxury resort opening in 2026 on the western tip of St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Surrounded by the wild beauty of Botany Bay and shaped by an ethos of intimacy, restraint, and attentiveness, The Botany will be one of the most anticipated openings in the Caribbean.
We are seeking a strategic and analytically driven Director of Revenue Management to serve as a founding commercial leader for The Botany. This is a rare opportunity to build the revenue foundation of a new lifestyle hotel from the ground up—establishing the systems, strategies, and disciplines that will guide a successful launch and long-term, sustainable growth. The ideal candidate brings a builder’s mindset, deep expertise in lifestyle hotel economics, and the ability to balance data-driven decision-making with thoughtful, brand-aligned growth.
What You’ll Do
· Serve as the founding revenue leader, responsible for developing the hotel’s commercial foundation from pre-opening through stabilization.
· Implement and manage all revenue management systems and tools from the ground up, including RMS, CRS, and PMS platforms.
· Develop pricing, distribution, and channel strategies that are responsive, data-driven, and aligned with a dynamic lifestyle market.
· Merchandise rate products across all channels—direct, voice, GDS, OTA, wholesale, and emerging platforms—to optimize revenue performance and market share.
· Establish reporting, forecasting, and performance dashboards that support agile, informed decision-making.
· Forecast room revenue and market share performance, clearly communicating insights and recommendations to internal teams and ownership.
· Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to align demand generation, merchandising, inventory controls, rate positioning, and guest experience.
· Define the hotel’s go-to-market positioning in a way that honors local roots while maximizing commercial performance.
· Prepare and deliver daily, weekly, and monthly executive-level reporting and presentations to property leadership, ownership, and Practice Hospitality.
Who You Are
· A revenue leader with a builder’s mindset who thrives in pre-opening and growth environments.
· Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize effort toward measurable results.
· Comfortable operating at both strategic and tactical levels, from system configuration to executive communication.
· A strong cross-functional partner with the EQ to collaborate effectively across sales, marketing, operations, and ownership.
· Tenacious, thoughtful, and motivated by long-term value creation rather than short-term wins.
Education and/or Experience
· Bachelor’s degree required.
· Minimum of five (5) years of revenue management experience, with at least three (3) years in a Director of Revenue Management role.
· Proven experience configuring and managing RMS, CRS, and PMS platforms.
· Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office products and virtual collaboration tools.
· Experience with independent or lifestyle hotels strongly preferred.
Other Functions
(This list is not exhaustive and may be supplemented or modified as necessary.)
· Participate as a key member of the hotel’s commercial and leadership teams.
· Maintain clear, consistent communication between property teams, ownership, and corporate leadership.
· Support special projects, market analysis, and strategic initiatives as needed.
· Travel as needed to the property.

About The Botany
The Botany is a privately owned luxury resort and spa located within the Preserve at Botany Bay—a pristine stretch of coastline on the far western tip of St. Thomas. This protected enclave, where the Caribbean Sea and Atlantic Ocean meet, is home to lush hillsides, golden beaches, and a sense of stillness that is increasingly rare.
St. Thomas is part of the U.S. Virgin Islands, located just east of Puerto Rico in the Lesser Antilles. Though the island is well known for its ports and vibrant energy, the Botany Bay area remains a world apart, peaceful, preserved, and deeply rooted in the natural and cultural history of the region.
When it opens, the resort will feature 23 ocean-facing villas, a spa, two pools, and a food and beverage program inspired by Caribbean flavors and seasonal abundance. More than a hotel, The Botany is an invitation to pause, reconnect, and experience luxury that feels both effortless and profound.
If you are ready to lead with care, create something lasting, and help redefine luxury in the Virgin Islands, we welcome your application.
This is a rare opportunity to introduce one of the Caribbean’s most distinctive new resorts to the world. If you are ready to bring your expertise, network, and creativity to The Botany, we’d love to hear from you.
The Botany is committed to full compliance with Virgin Islands Department of Labor standards and all applicable labor laws
